Cavaliers will try to get George Hill going in Game 2 after he broke LeBron’s ‘Kyrie’ rule

BOSTON — LeBron James had a rule for Kyrie Irving when he was the Cavaliers’ point guard, and George Hill broke it in Game 1 against the Celtics. You can’t go through a game as the point guard without any assists. Yet that’s precisely what Hill did, failing to record an assist or rebound in 28 minutes of the Cavs’ 108-83 loss to Boston in the Eastern Conference finals opener.Prior to Game 2, Cavs coach Tyronn Lue said there was nothing wrong with Hill’s back, which caused him to miss three games in Cleveland’s first playoff series against Indiana.”I just thought they switched a lot of stuff and took away his aggressiveness coming off the pick and roll,” Lue said, speaking to the Celtics’ defense against Hill. “We went over a couple things to try to do different, but he’ll be fine.”Hill averaged 10.3 points, 3.0 assists, and stayed with Kyle Lowry in Cleveland’s 4-0 sweep of the Raptors in the second round.
