Higbee Horror Haunt

Haunted House Walk Through Attraction Do you love a good scare? Do you love the classic horror movies that are shown in October? If so, we have the perfect attraction for you and your friends this Halloween season. In October Higbee Horror Haunt will open its gates of terror in Modesto,CA. Dates for 2014 are October 3rd, 4th, 10th, 11th, 16th, 17th, 18th, 19th, 23rd, 24th, 25th, 26th, 29th, 30th, 31st, and November 1st. Hours of operation: 6PM-10PM. This walk-through haunted house has real-life characters designed to make your heart race and to put a little jump in your step. WARNING: Not recommended for children under the age of 13. 12 and younger need to be with a parent or guardian. There is gore, violence, and scary scenes that may be too intense for young children. Someone with a heart condition, claustrophobic, or expected mother should not enter. Strobe lights and Fog effects in use.
Harvest Haunt Express

Harvest Haunt Express – October 4-5; 11-12; 18-19; 25-26 Join them for the family-friendly "Harvest Haunt Express" train ride! Staffed by a spirited "skeleton crew," the popular train rides take place aboard an excursion train that departs on-the-hour from 11:00am to 3:00pm. On Saturdays, the excursion train will be pulled by the Sierra No. 3 (also known as the "Movie Star Locomotive") and on Sundays by a vintage diesel locomotive. Tickets (which includes park admission) are $15 for adults, $8 for youth (6-17), and ages 5 and under are free. Purchase your tickets ahead of time by visiting www.railtown1897.org. New for 2014! Members of Railtown 1897 can reserve their free Harvest Haunt Express member tickets online! Please note: service fees apply. Members must show valid membership card and photo ID when picking up tickets at will-call.

Move Your Bones 5K

Move your bones run 5k, 1 mile and kids fun run It is on a Sunday in October 26th Turlock 7:30am to 11:30am in Turlock at a park It's our 5th Year!!! The 5th Annual Active Orthopedic Move Your Bones 5k and Kids Races! The kids races start at 8:15 am and the 5K starts at 9:00 am at Donnelly Park. We have great shirts, awesome DJ and music and amazing prizes and raffles! Run in costume! There will be a costume contest following the races.Prizes for 5K overall male and female. 5K prizes for the top 3 in the following age groups: 9 & under, 10-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+
